Period Undergarments



 An 1860s petticoat made from cotton organdy. Five tucks and an eyelet lace edge on the hem.

 An 1860s chemise, with lots of tucks at front at back, with lace around the neckband. Made from a cotton/silk blend from Dharma Trading.

1860s drawers, with a tuck at the knee and eyelet lace at the edge.


Gold corset. Silk fashion fabric, interlined with linen, lined with cotton duck. Bias binding of gold silk. Boned with spring steel. Hand-bound eyelets.


 White silk taffeta corded petticoat. Cartridge pleated at the waistband, hook and eye closure at sides. Three rows of cotton piping cord from Joann's.


 Gold silk and cotton damask petticoat. Cartridge pleating at waistband, hook and eye closure at sides.

A cotton/linen blend smock, with machine embroidery on the neckline and cuffs, and black zig zag stitch along the ruffled edge of the cuffs. Square neckline.
